Administrative Officer (THW)
The administrative officer is a member of the OV staff of the technical relief organization . He handles all administrative matters in the local association and supports the local representative , the OV staff and the unit leaders with administrative tasks. He is appointed to his function by the managing director at the suggestion of the local representative . The administrative officer must have a business understanding and administrative knowledge.

The tasks of the administrative officer include a .:
- Creation and processing of the helper files
- Keeping the staff and attendance lists
- Creation of course reports as well as verification in cooperation with the training officer
- Managing the cash desk
- Creation of documents, administration and statistics
- Participation in general reporting
- Preparation of the warning and exclusion procedures
- Maintenance of the data in the THW databases
- Setting up and monitoring the OV registry
When deployed, the administrative officer can take on a staff function in the management and coordination staff of the local association.
