Administrative community in Öhringen in the Hohenlohe district in Baden-Württemberg

In the agreed administrative community of Öhringen in the Hohenlohe district of Baden-Württemberg , a city and two communities have come together to handle their administrative business. The seat of the agreed administrative community is in the large district town of Öhringen ( fulfilling municipality ).

Member municipalities

Members of this administrative community created by a public law agreement are:

  • Large district town Öhringen , 24,374 inhabitants, 67.78 km²
  • Municipality Pfedelbach , 9123 inhabitants, 41.3 km²
  • Zweiflingen municipality , 1667 inhabitants, 32.1 km²

Structure and tasks

A joint committee made up of representatives of the municipalities involved decides on the fulfillment tasks. The chairman of the joint committee is the mayor ( Thilo Michler ) of the fulfilling community (Öhringen). The "agreed administrative community" is not itself legally competent , as it is not a corporation under public law and therefore also not a community association . The scope of the assigned tasks of the agreed administrative community determines § 61 of the Baden-Württemberg municipal code .
