Staßfurt administrative community

In the administrative community of Staßfurt of the Salzlandkreis , two communities were united to handle their administrative business. The city of Staßfurt was the sponsoring community and its mayor was the head of the administrative community. After the community of Löderburg and on January 1, 2004 the community of Rathmannsdorf were incorporated into Staßfurt on February 28, 2003, the Amesdorf community was added to the Staßfurt community from the dissolved Wippertal community on January 1, 2005. On January 1, 2009, the community of Neundorf (Anhalt) and the unified community of Förderstedt were incorporated into the city of Staßfurt. With the incorporation of the municipality of Amesdorf into the town of Güsten , which joins the new Saale-Wipper municipality , the VG was dissolved on January 1, 2010.
