Administrative community of the city of Hecklingen
In the administrative community town Hecklingen of Salzlandkreis the city Hecklingen and the community Giersleben were united for completion of the administrative business. The administrative community was created on January 1, 2005 from the previously free administrative community of Hecklingen and the community of Giersleben from the dissolved administrative community Wippertal . In May 2009 it was decided to leave Giersleben and thus to dissolve the administrative community. Giersleben joined the newly founded Saale-Wipper community on January 1st, 2010 .
