The Dessau Administrative Court was one of three administrative courts in Saxony-Anhalt. On January 1, 2009, it merged with the Halle Administrative Court .

The higher administrative court of the state of Saxony-Anhalt with its seat in Magdeburg was superordinate to the administrative court. This is subordinate to the Federal Administrative Court in Leipzig .
