Vespero is a space rock band from the Russian city of Astrakhan, founded in 2003 .

history

In the first four years after its founding, the band recorded a total of four sound carriers on their own, the official label debut took place in 2007.

Since then, most of the albums have been released through RAIG ("Russian Association of Independent Genres"), an independent label based in Moscow that has been active since 2002 , and its sub-label Accessory Takes , which u. a. specializes in out of print or live recordings. Individual records have also been released by Golden Pavilion Records ( Portugal ), Trail Records ( USA ), Transubstans Records ( Sweden ) and Ton Zonen Records ( Germany ).

style

As is typical of the genre, the band alternates synthesizers and guitars in Space Rock and the band tries to “create hypnotic trance states” through the “limbo” of their sounds. "Shum-Shir", an instrumental concept album, released via Ton Zonen Records , is "heavily psychedelic Krautrock sound with lots of space rock and progressive electronics". Violin and flute are also used.
