The Vesta Nunatakkers are a group of around 1200 m high Nunatakkers in the east of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . They loom between the Grikurov Ridge of the LeMay Range and the Aeolus Ridge of Planet Heights .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1987 based on the naming of other geographical objects in this area, which have names of planets and their moons . It is named after the asteroid (4) Vesta .
