Aeolus Ridge is a north-east-south-west oriented mountain ridge of up to 1,300 m height at the southern end of Planet Heights in the east of Alexander I Island off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after Aeolus , the god of wind from Greek mythology , in reminiscence of the prevailing weather conditions here.
