Vestfold Island is a small island off the coast of South Georgia . It forms the north-western boundary of the entrance to Larvik Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1982 after the Norwegian whaling company Vestfold A / S , which had operated a whaling station at Stromness Harbor from around 1920 .
