The FC Vevey Sports 05 is a Swiss football club . It was founded in 1905 in the town of Vevey in western Switzerland . The first team is playing in the fourth class first division of the Swiss football championship today . In the 1970s and 1980s, however, the team played for a long time in the top leagues in Switzerland. In the Swiss Football Championship in 1982 , the team placed 11th in the National League A.
The club consists of 19 teams, 17 of which take part in championships. With 450 players and around 20 coaches, the club is one of the largest football organizations in western Switzerland.
