VfB Bayreuth
The Association for Movement Games Bayreuth was a football club from the Upper Franconian city of Bayreuth , whose greatest success was the Bavarian championship title in 1956 .

1913 Bayreuth district was St. Georgen of FC St. Georgen was established and in 1920 VfB Bayreuth renamed. In 1930 financial difficulties resulting from the construction of its own sports facility led to bankruptcy. The association was re-established immediately and found its permanent home at the Prellmühle in 1936 . Before the Second World War , the club played only second class. The rebuilding work after the war led to an upswing, in 1952 VfB was promoted to the North Season of the then two-part Bayern League .
