The Verein für Leibesübungen 1892 Brohl am Rhein eV is a German sports club based in the Rhineland-Palatinate municipality of Brohl-Lützing in the Ahrweiler district .
history
Soccer
The association was founded in 1892. The football department has existed since 1919. For the 1953/54 season , the team rose to the then third-class 1st Amateur League Rhineland . With only 19:37 points, the team rose immediately from bottom of the table.
In the 2003/04 season the club played as SG Brohl in the district league B - Rhein / Ahr district and finished eleventh with 27 points at the end of the season. After the 2005/06 season, however, the team rose as the last of the table with only five points. The first season in the district league C ended again with 27 points in eleventh place. Since the season 2016/17, the club plays along with the FC Rhenania Gönnersdorf as SG Gönnersdorf-Brohl in a syndicate . In the first season as the new SG, the team played in the district league and finished eleventh with 37 points. Since the 2019/20 season the community has been in the district league B.
