history

Predecessor clubs

The TSV 1862 Pölitz took in the season 1939/40 in part Pomerania at the first class. In February 1940 the club withdrew its team, but at that time only two games were played. One game was a tie and the other was a loss. For the 1942/43 season , the TSV rose again from 2nd class to 1st class Pomerania . In March 1943, the club then withdrew its team. The WKG of the BSG Hydrierwerke Pölitz took part in the 1st class Pomerania in the 1939/40 season and took third place on the table at the end of the season after four games and 2: 6 points. In the 1941/42 season , the WKG rose again from the 2nd class to the 1st class Pomerania and ended the season with 9:21 points in eighth place. Merger to VfL Pölitz

For the 1943/44 season , the WKG and TSV merged to form VfL Pölitz and at the end of the season achieved fifth place under this name with 30:16 points. For the 1944/45 season , all clubs that could still take part in the game were divided into the Gauliga Pomerania and incorporated into so-called sports district groups. The Stettin group of the West section was assigned to VfL . Until the game was stopped, the team could only play three games and ended up in sixth place with 2: 4 points. At the latest at the end of the Second World War , the association was also dissolved.
