Via Appia Nuova

The Via Appia Nuova is a southern road from Rome that runs through the Campagna Romana . It was created in the Middle Ages as an alternative to the ancient Via Appia, which has been called Via Appia Antica ever since .

The Via Appia Nuova begins at the Porta San Giovanni in Rome and runs north to the Via Appia Antica, several hundred meters away. She leads u. a. at Rome Ciampino Airport over, and then in Frattocchie, a district of Marino , with the Via Appia Antica to State Road 7 to unite.
