The Vickers nunatak is a massive and distinctive nunatak in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Maud Mountains, it is located in the upper section of the Shackleton Glacier at a distance of 19 km southeast of Mount Black .
The southern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition (1961–1962) named it after Eric Vickers, a radio operator at Scott Base , who was in radio contact with it almost daily during the three-month research work of this team.
