Victor Bausenwein (born June 18, 1859 in Vienna ; † 1928 ) was an Austrian theater director and opera singer.

In 1901, Victor Bausenwein opened the so-called Bunte Brettl in the former Secession stage, in competition with the Bunte Theater , which already existed in Berlin , in which mainly pranks and antics were performed. Since other similar cabaret theaters based on the model of the colorful theater were being built at the same time, the colorful board could not last long.

In the winter of 1905/1906 he was a singer at the Stadttheater in Leitmeritz . He then worked as a singer in Vienna for several years, interrupted by guest appearances in other cities in Austria and Germany. In 1912 he lived in Vienna at Tulpengasse 6.
