history

The company was founded in 1895 as the operator of the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa in Interlaken. In 1997 she took over the Palace Luzern on Lake Lucerne , with which she had previously been in partnership. The takeover of the Hotel Eden au Lac in Zurich followed in 2005 . In 2007 the Hotel Bellevue Palace in Bern was added. In the same year the corporate structure was reorganized and the four five-star hotels were united under the umbrella of the Victoria-Jungfrau Collection .

In 2011 the Victoria-Jungfrau Collection sold the Palace Luzern to CS Funds AG, a Credit Suisse real estate fund . After the Chinese investor Yunfeng Gao bought the hotel in December 2015, the Victoria-Jungfrau Collection initially continued to operate the hotel until the hotel was closed for renovation in October 2017.

In March 2014, Aevis Holding AG, which also includes the private hospital group Genolier Swiss Medical Network SA , took over the majority of shares in Victoria-Jungfrau Collection AG and the two companies merged to form Aevis Victoria SA in June 2015 . Before the merger, Victoria-Jungfrau Collection AG was listed on the Swiss stock exchange and in the Swiss Performance Index .

In 2017 the Hotel Crans Ambassador in Crans-Montana joined the hotel group.
