The Agefi SA is the media arm of the group and is primarily publisher of French-language business daily newspaper L'Agefi , its supplements, the lifestyle magazine Evasion and the magazine profile Femme , which it acquired of 2007. In 2009 Genolier Swiss Medical Network sold 51% of the shares in Agefi SA to the French entrepreneur Alain Duménil .

history

Five shareholders founded AGEN Holding SA in 2002 through the takeover of Clinique de Genolier, which had existed since 1972 in the municipality of the same name in Vaud . In the following years new clinics were continuously integrated into the group in order to create a national network of private health institutions. In 2003 they integrated the Clinique de Montchoisi in Lausanne, VD, which was founded in 1923. The Clinique Valmont in Glion ob Montreux, VD, which had existed since 1905, and the Sainte-Anne and Garcia clinics in Friborg were integrated in 2005 (the merger of the last two eventually resulted in the Clinique Générale Ste-Anne). In 2007 the Center d'oncologie opened in Geneva, the only private center for radio-oncology in the city.

In 2008, AGEN Holding changed its name to Genolier Swiss Medical Network SA and in the following year integrated the Center médico-chirurgical des Eaux-Vives in Geneva and in 2010 the Bethanien private clinic in Zurich, which was founded in 1912.

In 2011, Genolier Swiss Medical Network took a 49% stake in the Lindberg private clinic in Winterthur and took a 20% stake in the Pyramid am See clinic in Zurich. The Obach Private Clinic in Solothurn (founded 1922), the Clinica Ars Medica in Gravesano TI (founded 1989), the Clinica Sant'Anna in Lugano (founded 1922) and the Lindberg Private Clinic were integrated in 2012 and the Clinique de Valère in Sion, VS in 2013 (founded 1920), the Hôpital de la Providence in Neuchâtel (founded 1859) and the private clinic Villa im Park in Rothrist (founded 1984).
