Victoria Park belongs to the metropolis of Perth , the capital of Western Australia. The area is 18 square kilometers and has about 35,000 inhabitants (2016).
Victoria Park just southeast of Perth city center across the Swan River . The seat of the Town Council is in the district of Victoria Park, where about 8750 inhabitants live (2016).

The Victoria Park Council has nine members, eight councilors are elected by the residents of the two wards (four each from Victoria Park and Carlisle Ward). The Mayor (mayor, officially His Worship, The Mayor ) and council chairman is also elected by all residents of the town.
