Video cube

As video cube , a combination of mostly four huge LED - screens called, which is centrally mounted on the ceiling of a stadium or a large event hall. At sporting events, they are used to display the playing time, the score and, if applicable, penalty times (for example for ice hockey games).

In the 1990s, the display was made by rear projection using video projectors (beamers). Later, they were often converted to new LED technology.

Some newer video cubes have four more "corner displays" at the corners and one or more surrounding LED rings as so-called ring screens.
