Vidmantas Egidijus Kurapka

Vidmantas Egidijus Kurapka (born July 20, 1952 in Balbieriškis , Prienai district ) is a Lithuanian criminalist , professor at the Mykolas-Romeris University , Vice-Rector for Science.

Life

In 1975 Vidmantas Egidijus Kurapka graduated from the Vilnius University Faculty of Law (with distinction ), worked at the Forensic Institute of the Ministry of Justice of Lithuania as a research assistant and since 1967 he studied in the postgraduate degree (PhD 1988). Vidmantas Egidijus Kurapka has been a lecturer since 1991 and was head of the Chair of Criminal Procedure and Criminology at the Police Academy of Lithuania (1980–1990). From 1991 to 1997 he was head of the chair for criminology and later professor for criminology, prorector for science at the police academy, law academy, lecturer for criminology at the legal institute of the Vytauto Didžiojo universitetas , prorector of the Mykolas Romeris University (since 1994).
