Vielerley Feierey

Vielerley Feierey is a histotainment event that takes place every two years on the Open Monument Day in September in Eutin , Schleswig-Holstein . The event attracted around 20,000 visitors in each of the previous editions and, according to the tourist information, is one of the most important attractions in Eutin. The main venue is the forecourt of the Eutin Castle .

history

Vielerley Feierey was held for the first time in 2007 on the occasion of the 750th anniversary of the city of Eutin. There were new editions in 2008 and 2009, and since 2009 the event has taken place every two years.

program

In contrast to other medieval markets, other epochs, from the early Middle Ages to the baroque heyday of the city of Eutin, are presented in addition to the High and Late Middle Ages . In addition to the camp life, the market, presentations of medieval crafts and a stage with music, on which the Scottish band The Dolmen performed in 2013 , there are also numerous walk acts .
