Liuda Purėnienė-Vienožinskaitė (born October 25, 1884 in Mataučizna , Rokiškis region , † November 17, 1972 in Kaunas ) was a Lithuanian lawyer and politician .

Life

Her brother was Justinas Vienožinskis . In 1904 she graduated from Jelgava high school . From 1905 to 1907 she took part in the revolution in Russia . In 1914 she graduated from Bestuschew's courses in Petersburg and in 1917 studied at the University of Peterburg . In 1918 she came to Lithuania and from 1921 to 1961 worked as a lawyer in Kaunas. From 1922 to 1927 she was a member of the Seimas .

She was a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .

Liuda Purėnienė-Vienožinskaitė was married to Antanas Purėnas-Vienožinskis .
