Viktor Romanko ( Russian Виктор Алексеевич Романько , Wiktor Alexejewitsch Romanko * 1953 in Gukovo , Rostov region ) is a Russian Bayan - Virtuose .

Life

After completing his educational and artistic training, Viktor Romanko now works as a professor at the Ural Conservatory in Yekaterinburg in Russia.

The well-known artist played numerous concerts in: Belgium, China, Germany, England, France, Italy, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Austria, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Ukraine, Belarus.

The musical spectrum spans a range from classical music , original music , folk music to rock and pop music.

Viktor Romanko is the only artist in the world who presents the composition The Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi in his own arrangement as a complete work on the bayan (similar to a button accordion ).

Romanko is successful as an improvisation artist on the bayan and plays melodies, which he spontaneously transforms into new compositions in different styles on the stage.

Awards

Viktor Romanko is 1st prize winner of the international competition in Klingenthal and 1st prize winner for improvisational art in Russia. He is also the winner of numerous competitions in the states of the former Soviet Union . In 1994 Viktor Romanko was honored as an Honored Artist of Russia in recognition of his special achievements . In 2004 Viktor Romanko received the highest award for People's Artist of Russia on behalf of President Vladimir Putin .
