Viktoras Pivrikas
Viktoras Pivrikas (born August 11, 1950 in Seda , Mažeikiai district ) is a Lithuanian doctor and politician from Palanga .
Life
After graduating from high school in Klaipėda from 1956 to 1967 , he studied medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas from 1968 to 1974 . From 1974 to 1988 he worked in the Klaipėda Hospital. In 1985 he received his doctorate and in 1990 his habilitation. From 1988 to 1990 he was a research assistant at the KMI. Since 1998 he has been a professor at the Klaipėdos universitetas .
From 1990 he was a member of the Lietuvos Demokratieinė darbo partija and from 2001 the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
From 1995 to 2000 and from 2007 to 2011 he was a member of the Palanga City Council.
