Vilhelmas Gvildys was a Lithuanian football goalkeeper .
Career
Vilhelmas Gvildys played in his club career for SpVgg Memel from the city of the same name, which was Germany's northernmost city until 1920. Later he worked for KSS Klaipėda , the association of the Lithuanian minority in Memelland .
In August 1930 Gvildys made his debut in the goal of the Lithuanian national football team in a 3-3 draw during the Baltic Cup 1930 against Latvia in Kaunas . In 1932 he took part in the Baltic Cup with Lithuania one more time.
From 1930 to 1932 Gvildys completed three international matches for the Lithuanian national team, opponents in all three matches were the team from Latvia.
