Vilija Salienė

Vilija Salienė (* 1959 ) is a Lithuanian professor, Lituanist .

Life

After graduating from secondary school, she completed her diploma in Lithuanian language and literature at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas in Vilnius . She then did her doctorate in education and qualified as a professor. She worked at the Vilnius Middle School, at the Institute for Scientific Research of Pedagogy (now UPC), at the State Commission of the Lithuanian Language. She teaches as a professor and is Vice-Rector for Studies at the Lithuanian University of Education .

Salienė is married.

Salienė speaks English and Russian.
