Vilija Vertelienė
Vilija Vertelienė (born May 1, 1962 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian politician.
Life
After graduating from the 31st Kaunas Middle School in 1980, she studied medicine at the Kauno medicinos institutas and from 1999 to 2001 the master’s degree in public health management at the Kauno medicinos universitetas , and from 2001 to 2004 the master’s degree in law at Lietuvos teisės universitetas . From 1986 to 1987 she was resident in Kaunas Hospital (KRKL). From 1987 to 1999 she worked as an infectologist in the hospital, from 1999 to 2002 as a senior specialist. From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the Seimas .
She was a member of the Darbo partija , from 2006 the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .
