The Villa Hasselkampf is a listed building in the Nauener Vorstadt district of Potsdam , Puschkinallee 1.

history

In 1871, the Potsdam furniture manufacturer Hasselkampf applied for the construction of a villa on the property at what was then Capellenbergstrasse 11 (later 1). The execution was carried out in 1872/73 by master mason Albert Lüdicke († probably in 1901, at the latest in 1903) and court carpenter Johann Hermann Kneib (1820–1905). The house, which Hasselkampf probably did not live in himself, had been rented since 1875 at the latest and was owned by the widow Amalie Hasselkampf, née Fischer, who lived in the house from 1877 to 1879 at the latest.

In the Potsdam address book for 1880, under “Capellenbergstrasse 1”, the accountant H. von Klinkowström is noted as the owner who does not live in the house, and from 1882 to 1904 the Berlin pharmacist widow Auguste von Klinkowström , née Schönebeck (1836–1904). It was followed in 1905 by the reindeer Fritz Schönebeck and in 1919 by the reindeer Ida Schönebeck. By 1922 at the latest, senior building officer Robert Rößler is the owner of the house, who is entered in the address books for 1925 to 1938/39 as a retired senior government and building officer.

architecture

The six-axis plastered building is single-storey on a high base with a gable roof . A loggia is in front of the two-storey central projection with a flat triangular gable. Vertical rectangular windows with Verdachungen and small knee wall windows illuminate the interiors. The entrance area is on the side.
