Villa María is a town in Uruguay .
geography
Villa María is located in the area of the Department of San José in its sector 6 in the Cuchilla Mangrullo . Nearby settlements are Mevir Cañada Grande in the north , Rafael Perazza in the west and Radial in the south. A few kilometers to the southeast is Puntas de Valdéz . The Arroyo Gregorio , a tributary to the right of the Río San José, has its source in Villa María .
