The Villa Millet is located in Cabourg , a seaside resort in Normandy that was built in the mid-19th century. The villa at 40 avenue du Maréchal-Foch was built in 1883. It is located on the Marcel Proust promenade .

The villa in the style of a castle takes architectural elements from the time of Louis XIII. and is rich in details. The facade facing the sea has a loggia with cast iron columns and a terrace above. The original interior was influenced by the Renaissance , with coffered ceilings and magnificent chimneys. The basement kitchen was decorated with azulejos . On the street side, there are two identical outbuildings at the corners of the property. which were built for the domestic staff.
