Vincas Ramutis Gudaitis
Vincas Ramutis Gudaitis ( Romas Gudaitis ; born December 8, 1941 in Pielkava near Marijampolė ) is a Lithuanian politician and writer.
Life
In 1965 Gudaitis graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in Lithuanian Language and Literature . In 1965 he worked at the Rudnia School near Varėna . In 1966 he did compulsory service in the Soviet Army . In 1967 he worked in Naniškiai ( Varėna district ). From 1968 to 1970 Gudaitis was editor of the cinema newspaper "Ekrano naujienos" in Vilnius . From 1989 to 1990 he was a member of the Supreme Council of the Soviet Union and from 1990 to 1992 in the Seimas .
Gudaitis is married and has two children.
