Vinicio Marinucci

Vinicio Marinucci (born June 26, 1916 in Ancona , † February 18, 2001 in Rome ) was an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

Marinucci studied law and worked as a journalist, theater and film critic. He wrote essays and novels and from 1949 was a diligent screenwriter for entertainment films, which were almost without exception popular with audiences. In addition to directing for television, he made two Mondo- style films . In 1946 Marinucci founded the “Sindacato Nazionale Giornalisti Cinematografici Italiani”, the association of film journalists, of which he was head until 1986.
