The Vinogradov Point is a prominent point of land on the east coast of Adelaide Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is marked the northern limit of the entrance from the Barlas Canal into Grosswald Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2017. It is named after the Russian cartographer Oleg Nikolajewitsch Winogradow (1926–2004), project manager for the compilation of a catalog on the glaciers of the Soviet Union .
