Virgilio Expósito

Virgilio Hugo Expósito (born May 3, 1924 in Zárate ; † October 25, 1997 ) was an Argentine tango composer and pianist.

Expósito composed two classics of tango at the age of fourteen with Maquillaje and a few years later with Naranjo en flor - both based on texts by his brother Homero Expósito . The Bolero Vete de mí , the waltzes Absurdo and Tu casa ya no está and the tangos Farol , Oro falso , Siempre París and Chau, no va más (all based on texts by his brother) as well as instrumental pieces such as Chau Piazzolla and Parisien (with Héctor Stamponi ). With his brother he also completed Enrique Discépolo's Tango Fangal .
