Virtual library for Benelux

The Benelux Virtual Library , or ViFa Benelux for short , is a scientific research and information portal for the disciplines of Dutch , Dutch, Belgian, Luxembourg research, Frisian and Afrikaans philology. As a virtual specialist library , ViFa Benelux aims to be both informative and interactive. The aim of this modular offer is to offer scientists, students and other interested parties a central point of contact for online research and to encourage professional exchange.

The ViFa Benelux is a service of the former DFG special collection area Benelux, developed with the support of the German Research Foundation, which was set up jointly by the University and State Library of Münster (focus on Dutch culture) and the University and City Library of Cologne (focus on Belgium / Luxembourg). ViFa Benelux is a partner of Webis (collection focus on German libraries) and part of the system of supraregional literature supply in Germany.

The ViFa Benelux was replaced in 2018 by the portal of the specialist information service Benelux / Low Countries Studies .
