Virtual SOP
The Virtual Start Of Production (VSOP or virtual SOP) - is a complex engineering approach to the development process of manufacturing plants. In industry, start of production denotes the beginning of series production .
procedure
The VSOP must
- Seeing product and production as a unit and developing both at the same time and in a network.
- start product development in the early product development phases and continuously increase the "degree of maturity".
- secure all development steps by simulating the future production process .
Effects
At the end of the product development process, there is also a fully developed, i.e. H. fully secured facility. (Mechanical functionality, checked control technology and proof of the planned application). In parallel with the development of devices (detail engineering), virtual commissioning is already being prepared and carried out in order to optimize the interaction between mechanics and control technology on the computer ( simulator ) . Possible process problems can be identified and rectified at an early stage in order to considerably shorten the commissioning times of the real system.
