Territory of the Visburgians after Ptolemy

The Visburgians (in Latin Visburgii called Ouisbourgioi , Greek  Οὐισβούργιοι ) were a Germanic tribe that has only been passed down from Ptolemy in its geography in the eleventh chapter of the second book on Germania magna . The Visburgians, neighboring the Quaden , sat according to Ptolemy in the southeast of the Germania magna above the sources of the Vistula in the area which Tacitus ascribed to the Gothini in his Germania .
