Viscount Churchill
Viscount Churchill , of Rolleston in the County of Leicester , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was created on July 14, 1902 for Victor Spencer, 3rd Baron Churchill . Already in 1886 he had inherited the title Baron Churchill , of Whichwood in the County of Oxford , from his father, which had been bestowed on his grandfather, Lord Francis Spencer , on August 11, 1815. The latter was a younger son of the 4th Duke of Marlborough and had been a Member of the House of Commons since 1801 .

There is currently no legacy for the Viscount. The presumptive heir ( heir presumptive ) of the barony is a third degree uncle of the current title holder, Richard Spencer (* 1926).
