Viscount Head
Viscount Head , of Throope in the County of Wilts , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
The family's ancestral home is Throope Manor, near Salisbury , Wiltshire .

The title was created on August 2, 1960 for Member of the House of Commons Anthony Head who had served as Secretary of War and Defense in the United Kingdom .
