The Kunstverein Augsburg is an art association founded in Augsburg in 1833 . The art association sees its task in promoting contemporary fine art from home and abroad. The Augsburg Art Association is constituted as a registered association and a member of the German Art Association .

The Holbeinhaus, Vorderer Lech 20. The house where Hans Holbein the Elder was born is a fixed location for the Kunstverein's exhibition program . J. was completely destroyed in World War II. A replica was built at the site in 1965 and is used today by the Kunstverein. Once a year the art association organizes a large exhibition in the Tuscan columned hall in the Augsburg armory .
