Viscount Marchwood
Viscount Marchwood , of Penang and of Marchwood in the County of Southampton , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award and subordinate titles
The title was created on September 13, 1945 for the businessman and Conservative politician Frederick Penny, 1st Baron Marchwood . He was already on June 19, 1933 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom as Baronet , of Singapore and Kingston-upon-Thames in the County of Surrey , and on June 8, 1937 in the Peerage of the United Kingdom as Baron Marchwood , of Penang and of Marchwood in the County of Southampton.
Today's title holder is his grandson David Penny as 3rd Viscount.
