Viscount Younger of Leckie
Viscount Younger of Leckie , of Alloa in the County of Clackmannan , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .
Award
The title was given to the Scottish politician Sir George Younger, 1st Baronet on February 20, 1923 . This had already been raised on July 12, 1911 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom to Baronet , of Leckie in the County of Clackmannan.
His great-grandson, who later became the 4th Viscount, was raised for life to Baron Younger of Prestwick , of Ayr in the District of Kyle and Carrick , on July 7, 1992 .
Today's title holder is James Younger as the 5th Viscount.
