Visual InterDev

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Visual InterDev was a Microsoft development environment for developing dynamic web pages in the Active Server Pages (ASP) language.

The program was part of the Visual Studio series and contained a WYSIWYG display of the website with a connection to a database (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server ) via ODBC or OLE DB as well as a debugger for interactive debugging of websites (the Internet must be installed Information Server on the development system). A link with other components of Visual Studio such as Visual SourceSafe was optional .

Visual InterDev appeared in two versions: Version 1.0 was part of Visual Studio 97, Version 6.0 appeared with Visual Studio 6.0. The program is no longer being developed.
