Vitale Venzi is a former Italian skier who was active in ski jumping , Nordic combined and cross-country skiing .

Career

At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Cortina d'Ampezzo in 1927 , he reached 6th place from the large hill. A year later he won silver at the Italian ski jumping championships and gold in Nordic combined. At the 1928 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz , he started in all three of his disciplines. He reached 13th place in ski jumping. In the individual Nordic Combined, he came in 20th place. Over 18 kilometers of cross-country skiing, he reached 35th place. A year later he won both Italian championship titles in ski jumping and combined. A year later and in 1933 he won gold again in ski jumping.
