Vivarium (animal husbandry)

A vivarium is an animal keeping facility or a building for the rearing and care of living, mostly cold-blooded small animals in aquariums , terrariums or paludariums . In ancient times, every form of an animal park was called a vivarium (Latin: vivarium = "container for living animals").
