Viviane Chedid N'Dour [ viˈvjan n̩ˈduːʀ ], as an artist often just Viviane , (*? In M'bour ) is a Senegalese Mbalax / R & B singer.

From 1993 Viviane worked as a background singer in Youssou N'Dour's "Super Etoile de Dakar". Viviane, who married Bouba N'Dour, Youssou's brother and manager, a few years later, had great international success with Youssou N'Dour and Neneh Cherry's hit "Seven Seconds", in which she played Neneh Cherry on Youssou Ndour's live concerts sang. She then released her first single. "Sama Nene" was a great success in Senegal and quickly made it popular in Africa.

In 2001 she founded her band, Le Jolof Band, and a first partial album came out. By 2003, she released five albums in five years.
