Vivianne Crowley is a British author, lecturer, psychologist and high priestess and co-founder of the Wicca religion of Irish descent.

biography

Crowley, who grew up in the New Forest , Hampshire , was introduced to the London Coven by Alex Sanders , the founder of the Alexandrian tradition of Wicca . However, it was later initiated into the Gardnerian Coven by Madge Worthington. Crowley founded the Wicca Study Group in London in 1988 and was appointed Secretary of the Pagan Federation that same year .

In 1989, Crowley's first book Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Age was published (German: Wicca: The old religion in the New Age ). In 1996 it was renamed Wicca: The Old Religion in the New Millennium . Various other publications followed.

Crowley studied psychology and received his PhD from the University of London . She teaches analytical psychology at King's College , London. She also holds a Chair at the Union Institute in Cincinnati , Ohio .
