Vladika or Wladika (Russian владыка; Serbian владика) is the title and salutation of the bishops among the Orthodox Slavs . Originally the word in Old Slavic meant "lord", "master".

In Montenegro , the title took on its original meaning for a long time, as the bishops of Cetinje were at the same time spiritual leaders and princes of the Montenegrins from the beginning of the 16th to the middle of the 19th century .
