Vodil is a village (qishloq) in the Uzbek province of Fargʻona in the Fergana Valley and the capital of the Fargʻona district .

Vodil is about 25 km south of the provincial capital Fargʻona on the border with Kyrgyzstan . The Shohimardonsoy River flows through Vodil, coming from the Kyrgyz town of Pulgon , two kilometers to the south .

According to the population census in 1989, the place had 17,551 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2002, the population was 29,400.
